an eerily beautiful scene in philadelphia after a six-alarm blaze this weekend destroyed an auto repair shop. fighting the fire in cold was especially difficult as you can imagine. they called in salt trucks so they could have better footing. roads may be slippery throughout the northeast and in parts of the northern plains and western mountains. flooding could be a problem for drivers throughout the south. roads wet in the pacific west. if your flying, airport delays are likeliest in new orleans, atlanta, charlotte, washington, new york and boston. under investigation this morning, a deadly crash in philadelphia, possible link to a feature on the popular app snapchat. >> three young women died in the crash last september when their car hit a tractor-trailer at high speed.

by the way, up to, a little further north, cold enough here with freezing rain this morning across portions of north georgia but for us it's that boundary there that is going to eventually come in through the through the early part of the day but you see the clouds already rolling in. we have southeast wind. that will get us with some isolated showers later this afternoon and then a line of heavier downpours coming in for tomorrow morning. so there's futurecast. commute. again, a few showers out there, coverage 20%. see the blob here? that is the beginning of the line that is going to be moving through tomorrow morning. this is going to be some heavy rain coming in. there will be some thunder, i think along this boundary but as far as severe weather, winds up to 60 miles per hour the conditions will be more favorable for that up in the panhandle. i think for us this is just going to be heavy rain. it's going to come in, unfortunately, through the early part of tomorrow,
it's a quick-moving system so that by tuesday afternoon we're clear and then that will set the stage for, i think some pretty nice days ahead, through the middle and latter part of the week. by the way the temperatures remaining mild and even a little above average, mid to even some upper 70s today. with that southeast wind. temperatures holding back into the low 60s, on cloud cover and we'll get ready for that line of showers and thunderstorms through the early part of tomorrow. then slightly cooler behind it but the air mass really behind so we're not going to be seeing week. 75, partly sunny and isolated afternoon showers, coverage 20%. still a pretty decent boating day despite more cloud cover but that would be about it. southeasterly winds 10 knots. 2-foot seas and light chop for the coastal weights as we check waters.
